On Sarah’s third day of her Iceland trip, her and her group were driving from Lundarreykjadalur to Akureyri. It was a beautiful, scenic drive along the coastline, and Sarah spend the drive relaxing and chatting with the her friends who were also on the trip. They also stopped at several places along the way! They first stopped at Grábrók, a mossy lava field.
Then, they stopped at Vatnsdalshólar, a beautiful viewpoint.
After this second stop, they continued driving along as they had, and Sarah continued chatting with her friends. Suddenly, the driver gasped and slammed on the breaks and the car skidded to a stop! Every was startled and immediately stopped talking and looked up to see what the sudden stop was for. When they looked up, they saw a heard of Icelandic sheep standing in the middle of the road!
Sarah immediately took out her camera and started taking pictures of the sheep. After the sheep crossed the road, their journey to Akureyri continued uninterrupted.
