There once was a cat named Cowboy who liked to wander around. One day he found himself in an airport and decided to sneak on a random flight. He had absolutely no idea where the flight was going, but he was bored with his life at home. He curled up in one of the first class seats and took a nice, long nap. A few hours later, he woke up and the plane had landed. He got off with the rest of the passengers, and then followed some of them to a bus. Eventually, he realized he was in Iceland.

He traveled from bus to bus and eventually ended up in Kópavogur, a city South of the capital. While there he heard about a place called the Sky Lagoon, and not knowing what it was, he decided he would explore it. When he got there he was horrified! The Sky Lagoon was an actual Lagoon meaning there was water everywhere. One thing about Cowboy is that he hates water, but he decided since he was already there that he would try and like it. Curiously, he dipped one of his paws into the lagoon and licked the water off of it.

The water tasted awful! So, Cowboy decided that he still hated water, and that the Sky Lagoon was a place he never wanted to visit again. He immediately left, and got on another bus that he hoped would take him somewhere better and less wet. But unfortunately for Cowboy, that would not be the case.

After a few hours on the next bus, Cowboy arrived at his next destination, Thingvellir National Park. At first, the park didn’t seem so bad, and there were even some mice he chased around. But then, Cowboy saw more water! This time, he decided he didn’t even want to try and like the water, so he left the park and searched for another bus. The next bus took him to the Katla Ice Cave which he did not like the sound of. Cowboy tentatively walked towards the cave, but as soon as one of his paws touched the ice, he decided he was absolutely not interested in going in the cave. Getting sick and tired of all the water in the country, Cowboy got on a bus that he assumed would be going back to the airport or at least a city, but unfortunately for him, it was not. The bus stopped at the Svartifoss waterfall. Cowboy got off the bus and wished he hadn’t. Waterfalls were his worst nightmare because it was almost impossible to stay dry around them. He turned to get back on the bus in hopes of making his way back home, but it had already departed and there weren’t any other buses around!

After a few wet and miserable minutes, another bus showed up and Cowboy got on hoping and praying that it would bring him back to the airport. Thankfully, this bus did, and the next day Cowboy was back home! He vowed that he would never go to Iceland again and decided to make this informational poster to show everyone why they shouldn’t visit either.
