On our last full day in Iceland, some of us on the trip decided to spend the day in the city of Reykjavik which ended up being a very eventful day. The main thing that we wanted to do that day was get tattoos! I thought it would be a really fun souvenir, and ever since I got my first tattoo, I have wanted to get another one.
At the tattoo shop, I noted that one of the artists had an American accent. I started talking to her and decided to interview her!
I learned that she was from Louisiana and moved to Iceland a few years ago for school. Her grandparents were from Iceland, so she had been before and knew about the culture.
She wasn’t the artist who ended up doing my tattoo, but it was still really cool getting the chance to talk to her.
After getting our tattoos, we wandered around the city as a group and did some shopping at souvenir stores.
Eventually, we stumbled upon a rainbow road that led to the church, Hallgrímskirkja. It was super pretty, and my friends and I decided that it would be a good place to take some pictures!
When I was taking a picture with my new friend Maddie, she surprised me by getting down on one knee and proposing to me! I was shocked because Maddie had a boyfriend and was straight.
I asked her what she was doing because I knew she had a boyfriend and was straight. She then confessed to me that ever since we had met, she had harbored feelings for me. Because of these deep feelings, she had hastily broken up with her boyfriend of three years over the phone the day the trip began. She also told me that I was her bisexual awakening and wanted to spend the rest of her life with me.
Because of this extremely romantic and touching proposal, I said yes. We then shared a deep, passionate, and loving kiss to celebrate. We will be married this summer at the Icelandic Phallological Museum in Reykjavik on 6/9!
That night, to celebrate our engagement, we went out on the town with our friends. On our way to the club, we ran into some sneaky little trolls. They took us to Sky Lagoon where they tried to get us drunk and steal our money!
Jokes on them though because we didn’t have any Kronas. Since we didn’t have any money, they let us go and even told us the best clubs to go to since they knew that’s where we wanted to go to next!
We then went to a nightclub called Exit where we danced the night away (just like the Barbie song).
We were ravenous after all of that dancing, so we decided to get our new favorite food: Icelandic Hot Dogs.
At the hot dog stand, a strange man (or should I say toilet), approached my fiance. He tried rizzing her up, but she declined stating that she was engaged to me. When Skibidi Toilet saw that I was also a woman, he was disgusted and said that even though he was an officiant for weddings, he would never do a gay wedding.
My alpha instincts kicked in and I rushed to protect fiance! I began brutally fighting with Skibidi Toilet.
Just as I am about to end his life, he cries mercy and says that he will officiate our wedding after all. So, I decided to spare him, and now we have an officiant for the wedding!
